ABA Architects is an architectural, interiors and planning services firm with more than 30 years of experience. We specialize in innovative, sustainable design. ABA is one of the oldest and most respected Tucson architectural design firms. The firm was founded in 1977 by Tucson architects Chuck Albanese and Roger Brooks as Albanese-Brooks Associates and has served clients in Southern Arizona ever since.
What makes ABA unique is our use of Integrated Project Delivery. We work with clients who want the architect and contractor to solve problems, increase value to the owner, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency while maintaining design quality. We facilitate this through Building Information Modeling software (BIM/ArchiCAD), which allows all project team members to collaborate in the earliest design stages, easily visualize design concepts, identify issues earlier, reduce change orders, and create realistic cost estimates.
ABA’s project list is extensive and includes projects requiring LEED certification, working with a construction manager at risk, interior design, and expertise in historic renovation and preservation.
Our clients include commercial businesses, government, public and private schools, churches, and non-profits who have a special need for innovative design, "green" design and/or historic preservation. Our clients are always part of the decision-making process and recognize that our experience and qualifications can be trusted to complete their projects in a superior manner and on time.
ABA is a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Council and three staff members possess LEED Professional Accreditation. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. We also offer more than 30 years experience in historic preservation and historic renovation and 25 years in interior design.
